It’s a well known fact that many kids are picky and if yours only want expensive cereals and not so cheap breakfasts, what are you to do? When you stop to look at your budget to see where your money goes, chances are you’ll find that a huge percentage goes just to food. While that is divided between all meals, breakfast is one of the meals that is easiest to do for cheap.
Joint custody is a court order whereby custody of a child is awarded to both parties. In joint custody both parents are “custodial parents” and neither parent is a non-custodial parent; or, in other words, the child has two custodial parents.
Jeremy was at first reluctant to mention what was bothering him. “You’ll think I’m some sort of pervert,” he told me. Jeremy, 50, and his partner Sue, 42, had been together for eight years. Sue had a 13-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old son who lived with them and Jeremy had two sons, aged 12 and 14, who lived with their mother.
Sue’s daughter Rhiannon had always been affectionate and trusting towards Jeremy and they got on well. “And that’s the problem. For the past six months I can only describe her behaviour as flirtatious. I swear I’ve done nothing to encourage her,” he told me.
The previous week, Jeremy had been alone in the house with Rhiannon when she came down to the kitchen in a skimpy nightdress. In any other circumstances, he said, he would have thought that this was someone making a pass at him. Was he misreading the situation?
